# Meta ads, built into your developer workflow.

Plainrouter gives developers APIs for conversion signals and governed Meta creative work. Start with a small, inspectable workflow instead of handing an agent unrestricted account access.

## From your workflow to Meta

- **Inspect** — Understand the current account and evidence
- **Prepare** — Name the intended change and rationale
- **Approve** — Review the proposal and policy result
- **Verify** — Inspect the resulting provider state

Supported creative changes require human approval. Ad copies are created paused; Plainrouter does not activate them.

## What Plainrouter adds

### Use familiar interfaces

Use the documented SDK or HTTP API for eligible conversion events and MCP for account-scoped reads and creative proposals. Each interface has its own credential and permission model.

### Start with a bounded task

Read account state or inspect signal health before proposing a change. Synthetic exercises let you understand the request contract without sending real conversions.

### Keep a reviewable change history

A proposal names the target and intended change. Policy and human approval come before supported creative execution, followed by a recorded and verified result.

## Is this a fit for your setup?

For developers and technical founders already preparing or running Meta ads who want to own event logic and automate repetitive creative preparation. You still choose the audience, offer and budget.

### When your existing setup is enough

If you are still deciding who the product is for or which acquisition channel to use, an advertising API will not make that decision. Manual Ads Manager work may be sufficient for an occasional campaign.

## How Meta ad preparation for developers works

### Choose one job

Start with conversion diagnostics or preparing one creative variant. Keep the business question small enough to check against actual account evidence.

### Connect the right interface

Keep Signals secrets on the server. For MCP, use a workspace token scoped to the intended Meta account and appropriate access tier; verify account identity first.

### Review and verify

Inspect a supported proposal before approval. In an executable mode, an approved ad copy is created paused and checked; activate it separately in Meta only when you choose.

## Meta ad preparation for developers FAQ

### Do I need to know marketing already?

You can learn the implementation through the guides, but the platform does not choose a proven offer or audience for you. It helps make a chosen Meta workflow explicit and inspectable.

### Can my coding agent run the whole ad account?

No. Account scope, permissions, policy and human approval constrain the supported creative workflow. Budget and status execution are disabled in this release.

### Where should I start?

Use the quickstart for account and Signals setup, or connect an agent for a bounded read. Choose the Next.js or automation guide when it matches your application.

[Implementing in Next.js?](/solutions/nextjs)

## Start with one Meta workflow.

Create a workspace and connect the account you intend to work on. Prepare one supported creative proposal, review it, then verify the paused result in Meta.
